About us

Z-N Enterprises consists of principals Olga Zalogina and Morten Nilsen. Additional staffing is added as needed, drawing from a network of associated freelance writers, editors, artists, and designers.

Olga Zalogina has an M.A. in German and English languages and literature from the St. Petersburg Pedagogical University in St. Petersburg, Russia.
A self-taught artist, Ms. Zalogina has had several exhibitions of her paintings in St. Petersburg, and a number of her paintings and pen and ink graphics have been sold to collectors in St. Petersburg, Moscow, London, Toronto, and New York.
Olga Zalogina, author of two volumes of poetry published in St. Petersburg, was the editor of five best-selling non-fiction books by psychologist S. N. Lazarev. She also designed the cover for the English translation of Lazarev's The Diagnostics of Karma.

After working a number of years in industry on instrumentation and control systems, he decided to strike out on his own as a freelance graphic designer. Over time this new career has evolved to focus on books. He is Z-N's principal book designer and typographer.
While he worked with Nonetheless Press, Morten Nilsen edited two works of fiction: The Reincarnation of Bennett McKinney, a novel by Steve From, and The Ecumenical Cruise and Other Three-Legged Chicken Philosophy Tales, a collection of short stories by Walter Benesch.
